An excellent Yuletide Day atop Maunakea. Standing next to the Canadian-France-Hawaii Telescope ( CFHT), we were rewarded with the expansive view of Keck and NASA observatories against the white snow and green Kohala Mountains in the distance. One can even see Haleakala on Maui peeking out amongst the clouds above Kohala. If you squint harder, you will see people shoveling snow onto a red and black truck next to the NASA telescope.
