Even though it was a cold and drab Christmas Eve morning, I decided to go for a drive to get some nature shots. This immature bald eagle didn't disappoint when it suddenly leapt off of the tree, while looking straight at me, and flew right past me. By the markings and coloring it appears to be an approximately two and a half year old.
