The Christmas Sun: One Year Apart

It was on 25th December 2020 when I started my project on sun, imaging it everyday. Today marks one year since the beginning of the project. Meanwhile at lot has changed. The solar cycle 25 has peaked and the image displays the same. Last year, we had only 2 sunspot regions, and today, we are having 9 shnspot regions on the same day. The sunspots have moved closer to the equator too, an indication of growing activity in the sun.

Merry Christmas to all!
