Willams Optics RedCat51 scope, Nikon D810A camera, Astro-Physics Mach2 tracking mount, guiding scope, camera and software
Stacked four hours of images from last night with about three and a half from a few nights ago. Then I processed the nebulosity and the stars separately in PixInsight and Photoshop, so the much brighter stars would not overwhelm the image.
This is a very powerful contrast with the image I shared yesterday of the tiny Owl Nebula. This is very wide field, a huge swath of sky taken with the tiny RedCat 51mm scope. It's about the size of a big telephoto lens. Captured is the Seagull Nebula with the much smaller Thor's Helmet in the lower right.
