Sunday's 98% illuminated moonrise between Crestone Peak (14,300' left) and Crestone Needle (14,203' right), in southern Colorado. It was a dress rehearsal for Monday's full moonrise at sunset, to be followed by a total lunar eclipse before dawn on Tuesday.
