It is time of lilac now. There are many different varieties of lilac on the Purdue University campus. This one with unusual flowers is my favorite lilac. Most flowers are purple flowers with the white borders, but some branches have flowers of different colors.
On the branch in this photo, there are purple flowers with the white borders, and pure white flowers, and flowers with petals of different colors. A flower with three white petals and one purple petal is slightly to the right of the center of the photo, and to the left and above is a flower with two white petals.
