Sunset walk around Centennial Lake, Dollard des Ormeaux, Quebec, Canada. Centennial Park has been a refuge for wildlife (fish, birds, small reptiles and mammals), and humans, for over sixty years. It has never been needed more than during the Coronavirus era, providing a breath of fresh air and nature to a confined if not locked down community. The lake was created to provide drainage to prevent flooding: it succeeded in keeping our homes dry during the great floods of 2017 and 2019 which devastated neighboring towns.
