The Full Moon does a great job painting the clouds.
The Moon can vary in brightness by as much as 90% throughout the course of the night due to differences in air density! Near the meridian, the Moonlight is mitigated by 1-2 airmasses (depending on your latitude). 10 degrees above the horizon, the Moonlight is mitigated by as much as 5 airmasses! Of course the air density varies with air pressure, humidity, altitude, air quality, etc.. My point is 👉 the Apogee Moon near the Meridian is brighter than the Perigee Moon (or "Supermoon" if you're into Astrology) near the horizon! Meaning, every Moon is beautiful and inspiring.
