It's a rare night when you can see the waves in the Bay of Rainbows (formed by the Jura Mts.).
These are "wrinkle ridges" formed by the lava flow that flooded this impact basin. The Terminator has to be in just the right place to see them. This is the first time for me in many Moons!
Montes Recti (the Straight Mountains) along with Rupes Recta (the Straight Wall) are the most linear major features on the Moon.
Note the Twin Peaks inside Copernicus.
Plato has low reflectivity (albedo). Compare it's shade to the surrounding areas.
