It was the International Observe the Moon Night tonight. Though it was cloudy for a while, the visibility was better at about 9 pm where I took this photo. The Moon occur was around first quarter, a phase that allows one for a good opportunity to view the terminator (the line between night and day), where shadows enhance the Moon’s cratered landscape. The moon was about 374, 259 km away from Earth at the direction of 231.02° SW↑ with an altitude of 40.82°. The First Quarter Moon was about 43.6% full .
