Image Details:

I wanted something unusual for a foreground....something that has not been used before. I have noticed this location which is close to my hospital/doctors office in La Jolla, California and had always wanted to photograph the moon rising over from this location looking due east. Last evening everything lined up, but the moon was a bit southeast as it made its way diagonally across the sky. It kept playing hide 'n' seek with the clouds. But I like this moon with just a bit cloud-covered. The beautiful blue/super/full moon of August 2023. The next one of this kind will not make appearance until 2037. The supermoon is 14% larger than the 'normal' moon...enjoy!
