While in a park watching ducks, I spotted these beautiful Orange Day Lilies by the water. Interestingly they are not actually lilies, being in the genus Hemerocalllis. True lilies are in the genus Lilium. Also, unlike true lilies which are toxic to humans & animals, the orange day lily is edible.
