Crop & due to very low light, removing shadow causing overly light background. So I added a filter background.

While visiting the Great Horned owl that has been sitting on a nest in the crevice of a tree, I was determined to try and spot the mate. The male will roost somewhere in the vicinity of the nest while the female is sitting. I couldn't believe that from my car I spotted his silhouette way in the trees across the road from her. It was a short time before sunset, so because of being backlit I had to remove a lot of shadow.
