Full Moon Setting before Sunrise.
The instant of the February Full Moon was at 8.28 pm on Sunday 5th. However persistent overcast in the late afternoon on the 5th obscured the Moon from moonrise in the evening until dawn on the 6th when it unexpectedly became visible in clear sky just before sunrise. This enabled it to be observed descending and setting close to the antisolar point among pale pink anticrepuscular rays.
