Even though the whole Northeast was hit with arctic temperatures (well below zero degrees & even colder wind temps), I decided to visit the Cohoes fall where the local Bald Eagle couple love to hang out. It was six degrees at the time, but they just enjoyed the calmness of the frosty river below them. When observing an eagle pair together, you can usually tell see the difference in size. The females are usually a third of the size larger.
