24mm Rokinon lens, Nikon D750 in crop-sensor mode (36mm equivalent). Composite of two frames, both frames 15 sec at f5.6 ISO 1,000.
Two frames layered together with Adobe Bridge and Photoshop. Sky darkened to make meteors more visible.
Virtually all of last night's Perseid meteors (12 August) were rendered invisible due to the 99% full moon illuminating our atmosphere. Out of 800+ frames, I caught but two bright meteors over Challenger Peak (center) and Kit Carson Mountain (right). This is a composite showing both meteors. Camera was pointed towards northeast radiant so both meteors were likely Perseids.
