I was shooting some basic images of the Mars - Saturn conjunction when a meteor flashed through the 1.6 second exposure with
perfect timing I didn’t see it until I viewed the image on the on the rear screen I must say I was pleasantly surprised.
The mountains in the foreground are the Eastern approach to 8,847 ft Mt.Pinos which is a well known dark sky location in Southern California.
