Taken from quite a distance, two Northern Harrier Hawks taken on separate days. The immature resembles the female, but with a cinnamon wash belly. The male, which is a little more difficult to capture is a grayish white, also known as the "Gray Ghost". They soar and hover low over the ground when hunting (usually voles). With an owl-like face they can detect prey by ear.
