Information extraction in Photoshop
At Frosty Drew Observatory we started a new project this November with the sword region of the Orion Molecular Cloud Complex. This image represents the first step of that project and is largely just broadband data. The next step will be the addition of narrowband data to show more detail in the emissions nebula. Using the Canon Ra for broadband allowed for the addition of Ha narrowband wavelengths due to the modified filtering in the camera.
