Comet C/2020 F3 NEOWISE is making a very brief dawn apparition in July the week after perihelion, hugging the horizon under 5 degrees elevation to the northeast as a tough catch, 30 minutes prior to sunrise.
Comet C/2020 F3 (NEOWISE) is up and gorgeous. Started observing it with naked eye so I had to get out the trusted photography apparatus.
It is visible to this old man’s naked eye but then again the 75-300mm lens sure does it justice.
I missed Comet ISON when it made it’s grand appearance a few years ago so this is quite a treat.
