Wolf Moon over Hollywood
Took this image the first morning we were in LA...it was a planned alignment shot with all the planning done long distance via PlanIt Pro (my ephemeris app) and Google Earth Pro and Google Maps. I wanted to capture the moon over the world famous HOLLYWOOD sign--I knew the ambient light would be dark at the time of the moon set on Friday, Jan 10 2020 and had been hoping that the sign would have been lit/had lights shining on it to make it brighter. Unfortunately it wasnt so I shot an extremely wide bracket and blended the images in a way that I think reasonably reflects what we could see with the naked eye.
