Nikon D750, Nikkor 28-300mm f/3.5
Adjusted exposure, highlights, shadows.
Having captured the thin crescent old moon at 1% on Monday I wanted also to get the thin crescent new moon this evening and had good fortune with the weather - clear skies to the west. Taken from the Blue Ridge Parkway near MM 425, looking out over Nantahala National Forest. The new moon sits right on the horizon. At 105mm zoom I couldn't also get Saturn up higher in the sky, but Venus and Jupiter are bright and clear.
