What an exciting weekend this has been. It started out with a trip to Westbrook, Maine to see the ice circle in the Prescumpscot River, my birthday celebration on Saturday and ended with this Lunar Eclipse!
I knew this would be a quick viewing because it was so cold out and I wasn't sure if my camera would operate in 7° weather but it did! I didn't see the red color but the eclipse was definitely in process, about half-way through. I took this photo while standing on my back porch, bracing myself against the wind while holding my camera against the railing for support.
