There are many names for every full moon. Here in the Northern Hemisphere, the February is sometimes called the Snow Moon, Hunger Moon or Wolf Moon. She has won a galaxy of awards from the broadcasting and science communities, including having an asteroid named 3505 Byrd in her honor.
