Wyalkatchem Community Resource Center

Wyalkatchhem is a town located in the Wheatbelt Region of Western Australia. The Wyalkatchem Community Resource Center acts as a hub for community groups, and as part of its offerings provides access to large open areas that can be used for a number of events, including stargazing. Facilities are available for day use, but open areas can be accessed around-the-clock; accommodations are available and camping can be arranged. This part of Australia is thinly populated and the night sky at town rates at about class 4 in the Bortle scale, with class 2 being attained in nearby surrounding areas.
