Troytown Farm and Campsite

Located on the remote island of St Agnes—a part of the Isles of Scilly, an archipelago 25 miles (40 km) off the southwestern tip of Cornwall, England—Troytown Campsite is right by the beach and enjoys incredible panoramic views across the Atlantic. The site is perfect for spending a day relaxing on the white sand of the campsite’s own beach, watching the sunset from a tent and even counting shooting stars in the crystal clear night sky. A stargazer who visited the site shared the following with EarthSky: “No streetlights, so on any clear night the Milky Way will have you in awe. Hundreds if not thousands of nebulae can be spotted. Get out even a modest set of binoculars, and be stunned.”
