Sturgeon Bay was a small lumbering community the U.S. state of Michigan, located in Bliss Township on the southern border of what is now Wilderness State Park in the northwest part of Emmet County. Almost nothing remains of Sturgeon Bay, besides three miles of sandy beach and gorgeous views, and sand dunes for exploring. ‘Find a spot on the dunes or lay on the hood of your car. Bring some snacks, dress a bit warmer & bring a blanket and you will not be disappointed!’
