Navarre Beach is located on the Gulf of Mexico on the far western end of the Florida panhandle. Gulf Islands National Seashore surrounds Navarre Beach, drawing people in with its white sand beaches. A fishing pier, Marine Science Station and the Gulfarium Marine Adventure Park serve as entertainment while you’re waiting for night to fall. Visitors stay in campgrounds in the national seashore or condos on Navarre Beach. An EarthSky contributor noted the sky from the beach is “dark over the ocean, with no artificial light interference.”
