Kouchibouguac National Park

Kouchibouguac National Park is a Canadian national park located on the east coast of New Brunswick, just 61 miles (98 km) north of Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada. As part of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada’s Dark Sky Preserve Program, Kouchibouguac is committed to protecting the nighttime environment by reducing energy consumption. This includes adjusting, retrofitting, or eliminating light fixtures as well as promoting and delivering new educational and interpretive programs on astronomy and other dark sky themes. In the fall, there are public programs and events to celebrate astronomy and the dark sky. The park also offers many different camping experiences, both primitive and developed for the most experienced or newfound campers. For more information, please visit online or call the park at 506-876-2443.
