Keough Hot Ditch is a group of man made rocked walled pools formed inside a creek of natural hot spring water. Located in the Owens Valley of California right off highway 395 this is a primitive warm spring runoff. The source is Keough Hot Springs Resort which is up the road and uphill and is 600 gallons per minute. The Keogh Hot Ditch pools are fairly large and decrease in temperature as you go downhill. The water is generally clear and inviting. Primitive, except for damming of some of the pools. The source is Keough Hot Springs Resort which is up the road and uphill which is a pay resort. It comes through a ground pipe at about 95 degrees. The pools cool as they cascade downhill. ?”You can soak your bones while you watch the shower. Plus it’s so dark in the Owens Valley!”
