Jim Barnett Park in Winchester, Virginia offers a sizable area featuring a fitness trail, disc golf course & playground, plus indoor & outdoor pools. An EarthSky friend said: “There is a great open space to lay a blanket and simply look up!”. Note that the park closes early on weekends.
