Homolovi State Park is a grand Arizona state park, just 63 miles (102 km) east of Flagstaff, Arizona. It serves as a center of research for the late migration period of the Hopi Native American tribe, while providing the opportunity for visitors to visit the sites and use park facilities including a museum, various trails, and its very own Winslow Homolovi Observatory. The observatory hosts public star parties on the third Saturday of every month (except for December) and also encourages visitors to bring their own telescopes for assisted night sky viewing. Camping is also available, and offers more than 50 sites for RV and tent camping that vary in their amenities. For more information, please visit online or call 928-289-4106.
