Diani Beach
November 17, 2017
Diani beach is located about 30 km (19 miles) south of Mombasa on the coast of the Indian Ocean. With resorts all along, its white sand stretches on for 17 km (10 miles) and it is a popular place for snorkelling, diving with dolphins and sea turtles, spotting whale sharks, kitesurfing and skydiving. The beach is the base for several safari companies.
A member of the EarthSky stargazing community says: “Almost no city light and perfect beaches to lay down and enjoy the sky to the sound of the sea.”
