Creamer’s Field Migratory Waterfowl Refuge is a bird sanctuary located within the Fairbanks North Star Borough just 3 miles (4 km) north of Fairbanks, Alaska. It serves as a venue for community involvement through education programs, signature events and guided interpretive nature walks including nighttime strolls to capture views of a starlit sky and on some occasions, the dazzling aurora borealis. Please note that while general camping is not available, the farm does host an annual 2-week Summer camp for children ages 4 – 11 where they’ll learn in an engaging outdoor education curriculum.
