Chiefland Astronomical Village is a privately owned dark-sky site located in northwest Florida. The observing field is open 365 days a year to all members, and membership is free by application. An EarthSky friend enthusiastically reports, “It is in a dark place. Membership is free and you can camp in a tent. There is electricity and facilities and the people are fantastic!”
