Cairngorms National Park
November 17, 2018
Cairngorms National Park is located between Inverness and Aberdeen in Scotland. Here, in the UK’s largest national park, visitors can hike hundreds of trails across mountains, through the moorlands and peatlands to forests and wetlands. This park in the Scottish Highlands is home to 4 of the 5 highest mountains in the UK. An EarthSky visitor boasted of the night sky that there is “very little pollution and no light pollution.”
