Byrd’s Adventure Center is located in the Ozark National Forest along the Mulberry River, 24 miles (39 km) north of Ozark, Arkansas. While an EarthSky visitor calls the site, “a bit rustic,” a lodge, cabins, and a campground are available for a fee. Byrd’s is an off-road and ATV park that also offers two grass runways for single-engine airplanes and ultralight aircraft. Dirt bikes, mountain bikes, ATVs, 4x4s, and more all take to the trails while kayaks, canoes, and rafts ply the waters of the Mulberry River.
