Brorfelde Observatory

‘It is the only place in Denmark where the darkness is protected by law. Once the Observatory was fully functional and astronomers were living here with their families. The Observatory were known for their skills in making telescopes. Today it is a center of exploration open for those who are fascinated by science, nature and observation. It is a situated 92 meters above sealevel, which is not bad for a hilltop in Denmark. The Observatory in Brorfelde has a lot of public events every year and is visited by astro-photographers. Great place!’
