Beverly Beach State Park

Beverly Beach State Park is a full RV hookup camping area with showers, bathrooms, beach access, and a meeting hall where evening interpretive programs take place, about 102 miles (164 km) northwest of Eugene, Oregon. The park also has tent areas, as well as yurts for rent. Please note that while this is not a designated observation area, the park offers suitable stargazing and is open to the public year-round. The EarthSky reader who recommended this entry says “Surfers often head to the north beach, while folks looking for fossils head south. Giant, wind-sculpted trees and nurse logs surround the campsites strung along pebbly Spencer Creek. The day use picnic area is a grassy spot protected from summer winds.” For more information, please visit online or call Visitor Information at 800-551-6949.
