Ahopsari-jae

Ahopsari-Jae is a mountain pass in South Korea, accessible by road and sitting at an elevation of 740 feet (226 m). The pass is located in the province of South Gyeongsang, in the southern part of the country, approximately 250 km east of the capital city of Seoul. A friend of EarthSky has provided the following recommendation: “Ahopsari-jae is a sort of secret place between skygazers of South Korea, who want to keep dark sky continuously (they worry about light pollution). So there is no online site, and little place information. A super secret stargazing spot in South Korea?… Yes, please!”
