The first eclipse of 2011 – a partial solar eclipse – was seen earlier this week in western Europe and northwestern Asia. The Big Picture has an amazing collection of photos from the eclipse that you should check out right now.
This was the first of four partial solar eclipses which will occur in 2011, with the others taking place on June 1, July 1 and November 25.
