EarthSky awarded multiple awards for 2008

EarthSky announced today that it has won multiple Communicator Awards, which are awards honoring creative excellence.

EarthSky’s “radio podcasts”:https://earthsky.org/radioshows/ in the popular Earth & Sky series, its “extended podcasts”:https://earthsky.org/clear-voices/ in the Clear Voices for Science series, and “earthsky.org”:https://earthsky.org itself all were honored for creative excellence, quality, and achievement. “We’re gratified to receive this prestigious award,” said Ryan Britton, managing partner of EarthSky, “and will use it to continue the tradition of excellence in science podcasts that has served our listeners for the past 17 years.”

The Communicator Awards are judged by the International Academy of the Visual Arts. Entries are considered against a high standard of excellence based on the Communicator Awards’ 14-year history of judging work. In 2008, the Communicator Awards received over 8,000 entries from companies and agencies of all sizes, making it one of the largest awards of its kind in the world.
