After the day that overcast the wolf moon in NYC, decided to check out the waning gibbous (96%) moon. The day was pleasantly clear though Friday the 13th clouds just around the moon rise threatened to hide the moon once again. Luckily, I was able to capture the moon rise behind the Empire State Building via a composite of 10 images spaced 4 minutes apart. Notice the low lying clouds partially hiding the moon to the left of Empire State Building.
