The Rho Ohpiuchi complex is a vast structure spanning stars, nebulae and galaxies that stretches along the edge of the Milky and is anchored by bright Antares. It is usually too low on the horizon and too far east for me to image from my location. The homestead however had unobstructed 360 views of all horizons and I was able to capture this close-up over 2 hours starting when it was just a few degrees altitude. This Antares region includes (clockwise from the blueish nebula top left), Nebula IC4605, bright purple Al Niyat, globular cluster Messier 4, bright yellow Antares, and the small cluster in the middle, NGC6144.
