Last sunset of the 2022 year on the sometimes violent Pacific coastline. My understanding a bit dated, as in 20 years ago, but there was an ongoing debate about the "green flash". A transient phenomenon that was more urban legend than verifiable scientific fact. Two people could stand beside each other at the moment of a clear sundown. As the sun sets below the horizon, there is claimed to be a transient green or violet artifact over the sea. Problem is, one will see it and the other will not. Old attempts to photograph and verify the phenomenon were quite bad.

I think Cecilia got it though she says it is too out of focus. Out of focus or not, this ends the debate. Beautiful sunset on the last day of 2022.
