These flowers on the tar road is the Barringtonia racemosa, also known as Common Putat, has pendulous inflorescence, up to 1m long. The flowers are night-blooming and have filamentous stamens that are white, pink or red. The bark and fruits are crushed and used as fish poisons as they contain toxic saponins. When I walk in the park, I don't just observe the trees or birds, sometimes what we see on the ground will also make our minds inquisitive. This is not something rare, but to me they are interesting , especially when they are photograph in a different perspective, like this image I had to squat to make the picture perfect.
