Waxing Crescent moon (4.8% luminance) and Venus after sunset.
Venus had eluded me all spring because it would show up low in the horizon and we would always have clouds. Today, We had one of those perfect sky conditions where the western horizon was clear as can be. When I took this image, the moon was at an altitude of 11 degrees and Venus, 5.4 degrees. The only downside was the powerlines. No matter how hard I tried, one of them snuck in somehow into the frame.
