Preselected best frames with PIPP, stacked with AutoStakkert3! and Photoshop for post-processing.

Image Details:

Mercury, the innermost planet in our solar system, is at its greatest eastern elongation so its phase is the same as that of the first quarter Moon. Mercury was about 5 degrees above the western horizon when I captured this image just after sunset.
