Image Details:

Jupiter glowing at it's brightest in the eastern sky . The first light of dawn had not yet reached its altitude. Just a few minutes later, it faded away into the dawn-lit sky. The waning crescent moon rose at 5:13 AM, 25 degrees south of the Sun. It was too faint to be seen even for a few moments before sunrise, which was at at 5:49 AM.
