Post-processing Details:

24 4-minute subs plus calibration frames stacked with DeepSkyStacker, star color calibrated with SiriL, other post-processing with Photoshop, Images Plus, and MS Photo.

Image Details:

Messier 57, the Ring Nebula, is a planetary nebula located in the constellation Lyra. The central star, which was the source of the starburst that formed the nebula, has become a white dwarf after shedding its mass.
